Rose Drive Elementary

Role: Designer

Contracted with creating the 5th Grade graduating class shirt for Rose Drive Elementary. Done pro bono for the school.

Brief: Please make us a graduating class shirt that says the name of the school and the graduating year.

With little direction from the school, I independently researched their school colors and mascot - black & red and a roadrunner. They didn’t have an official mascot character illustrated anywhere, and i didn’t want to assume any characterizations, so I alluded to the roadrunner with footprints. This being for a fifth grade graduating class, I decided to keep the overall vibe fun and eclectic with edgy number cutouts and a cool script font pairing to make this something parents could read and kids would actually want to wear. I prepped the lockup in light and and dark versions so the school had choice of shirt colors for printing.
