Adventures of a Laguna Witch

I was hired to illustrate the covers of two books for author, C.S.R Calloway. The contract included custom title treatments, custom characters designs and background art.

Brief: Adventures of a Laguna Witch is a raunchy comedy that is full of magic and mishief. The cover needs to instantly signal that this isn’t a traditional witch story. Showcasing the main cast of characters with a lighthearted, beachy aesthetic. The title treatment should be able to stand on it’s own in a long and stacked format. Everything should have a vibrancy and sassiness to it.

Tools: Procreate & iPad Pro for character design and layout sketches. Adobe Illustrator for title treatments. Adobe InDesign for cover composition

Lost

Role: Artist & Cover Design

I was hired to illustrate the covers of two books for author, C.S.R Calloway. The contract included custom title treatments, custom characters designs and background art.

Brief: Lost is a Peter Pan/Hook fanfiction. Following Rufio’s adventure filled journey to becoming the leader of the Lost Boys. Rufio’s character should remain obscure, hidden in foliage or shadow - with elements of Neverland in the scene. Open to depictions of the pirate ship, mermaids cove, or Indian encampment as possible settings. Portraits of the poignant characters should be included into the front cover.

Tools: Paper and pencils for rough sketch work. Adobe Photoshop for colorization and Adobe Indesign for cover composition.
